I was extremely fortunate to pick up a Sega CDX at a swap meet last weekend, and I tested it out with Panic! -- which remains one of the most fucked-up (in a good way!) games ever published in America.
Does anyone here have the Japan-only PS2 remake of Panic! (called Switch, I believe)? Do you like it? Is it worth tracking down?

I've still never SEEN Panic. Doesn't look like anyone else is that familiar either. PS2 is one of the systems I have yet to have started importing for though....don't like doing physical mods to my systems!

This has to be one of the lesser known releases by Sega.. I can't find much on it at all. I was interested in it, but at full price, it wasn't worth it to me. From what I hear, it's a nice, updated version with clean graphics and improved sound.
Here are Sega's Switch and Wave Master's Switch webpages though:

You can download a video from the Sega one.

I have Panic on Sega CD, it's a weird little experience/game, but it could all be done as a flash website these days...

Panic! is one of the only Sega CD games I'd love to get my hands on - anyone know what it's going for these days?

Well, the Japanese PS2 remake is called Switch, b/c the MegaCD game is called Switch. I've never tried it, but know a guy that swears buy it -- says it's fantastic.
