Who plays with this? It's great stuff indeed. I haven't messed with it in a long long time, but got ahold of most of the v1.30 roms and tables and have been playing some of the pinball games. It's amazing how everything is re-created. Star Wars was a fav of mine (Data East) and I've been pretty much on that most of the night. How bout you guys and gals?

Yes, this stuff is great! Of course not as good as the real deal,
but about the best you can get if you don't have the real machine.
The game play is great and it's all your old favorites.
My favorite right now is "The Machine: Bride of Pinbot"
I want to make a control panel with flippers, and switches rigged up so you can nudge and bump like the real thing.
This is on my long list of projects ( So it probably won't get done)

I like it as well...my favorite real machine is probably Fireball (Williams I believe)
There was a homemade machine on IRPinball I believe called Build A House, for some reason, I really loved that table as well. :)

I'm at my friend's house now playing games on PinMAME and I love it. My favs are Baby Pac-Man and Doctor Who (which I used to play for hours when the machine was at my school).

I love this too..
Addam's Family is the best. I don't love the interface, or all the installing you have to do to get it done, but it's worth it.

It's awesome as hell. I wish there were options to alter table physics though (maybe there are... I just dl'ed it), the ball seems to run a little too fast and smooth (or maybe I'm just used to the crappy old pinball machines I've always played on).

I just recently set this up myself, right around Thanksgiving, and it's great fun. My biggest gripe is the non-standard controls. Some games start by hitting "s", and others "1', and a few I never did get going. This kind of thing shouldn't change, and will be REALLY annyoying once I get my cab set up. Tilt sensors would be great, but I doubt I'll incorporate them.

It's amazingly tough to get this emulator set up. Some games still don't want to work with it... I had a devil of a time trying to get Super Mario Bros. to start.
Does anyone have any recommendations for PinMAME and/or Visual Pinball? My current favorites include Star Trek: Next Generation, Star Trek: 15th Anniversary, and Bad Cats. The homebrew Darius pinball game is pretty awesome as well, although the table is BRUTALLY hard.

I thought it was actually really easy to get set up. I haven't found a frontend that I much like yet though. The best seem to be VPMan and VPLauncher, each with their own pitfalls.
I really like the homebrew Ghouls, Ghosts, & Goblins.

Two of my favorites are:
The Machine: Bride of Pinbot
Black Knight 2000
I agree it is tough to set up. I was running an older version,
which expired and forced me to upgrade versions.
I managed to screw it all up trying to install the newer version.

Yah, VPLauncher is pretty bleh; I wish there was a decent frontend but it looks like that's pretty much the only game in town. Ah well.

Hmmm, The Machine is the only one that I've had problems with so far. It complains about the version but continues until it bombs out on a variable in the script.
