Years ago, I bought 2 cartridges for the Sega Genesis at Blockbuster. One was green, the other was blue, and the only name I saw on them was Game Factory. I have no idea what these are and I can't find them in the collector's list. Can anybody tell me what the purpose of these cartridges are? As far as I know, it doesn't work in the Genesis either. This has been bugging me for the longest time, so I was hoping somebody here could shed the light on this subject for me. I found some pictures if that helps

Game Factory was a... interesting idea from BB and Sega. You got the cart, and they had rom burners basically which would put a game on your cart. You'd pay a fee to put the game in, then if you wanted a different one you'd pay for a blanking and re-burn. Never actually happened tho if memory serves.

I'm suprised they aren't in the list. Heck, we've discussed these before.

Oh, thanks for clearing that up. So I'm guessing the carts aren't really worth that much...glad to know what they're finally for anyway

They should be on the list, at the end of it. The RED copy... now that's a rare find. The blue and green are worth about $20 each... sure to increase, I'm sure.

And also the burner itself... that would also fetch a good chunk of change.
