can somebody give me a place where i can get everything i need for mame. I don't know how to use so can you guys help me out. I have a windows xp and 98 if that helps

ok, two places will put you straight. One is the official MAME page at http://www.mame.net There's a HUGE FAQ there which will answer all questions. Sceond, if you're looking for a Win Mame, try http://www.classicgaming.com/mame32/
As for roms...I dunno anymore.
