What exactly is the difference between the Wonderswan Color and the Wonderswan Crystal?

I read one thing that said the only difference is that the Swan Crystal just is slightly smaller with a sharper screen (much like the difference between Game Boy and Game Boy Pocket). But then I read somewhere else that Swan Crystal has some updated hardware, meaning there are some games that can only be played on the Swan Crystal.

So please, anyone who owns these or just knows about them, clarify this for me.

I believe that I read the hardware was upgraded for the Swan Crystal, as well. I don't think the Final Fantasy ports, for instance, work on Swan Color.

Then again, the FF ports could BE for Color, as far as I know.

I'll check it out for ya.

Any update on this? I am think of buying a Wonderswan, but I am not sure whether to go with a Color or a Crystal. Seeing that the Crystal is nearly double the price of a Color, I am not sure if I should get the Crystal just for a slimmer size and sharper screen. Thanks.

All colour games work on the crystal, i'm not sure but i don't believe that there are any "Crystal Only games" - Its kind of like the GBA SP to the original GBA. The crystal has a larger screen and I believe is backlit. I'm not 100% sure about this. I do know that the Final Fantasies work with the colour version simply b/c there are Final Fantasy bundles that came wih Colour.
