whats the rough value of these SMS "protos"?

one of my collector friends found these carts and asked me what the going price for them would be. not sure if he's going to sell them, although he is having car troubles, just trying to get a ballpark figure.

I don't think it was ever stated weither those were on ROMS or EPROMS.

I dunno, $20-40 mebbe.

if there was some difference between that cart and the released japanese version of the cart- then i would say it would be worth well more than 20-40$.
if it is identical to the japanese cart.. then its probably fair to say its not that desirable.

If there are differences between any of those, then probably $50, and if its on EPRoms, then maybe more.

all the ones i've seen with those labels are on eprom boards with eproms. probably would sell for no more than $50 tops. and those are most likely final versions.

Yeah, SMS protos don't sell for much because:

A) there aren't alot of SMS collectors (like there are for the NES)

B) virtually every SMS "proto" is 100% identical to the released version.
