Today I picked up a bunch of stuff...Listing in weekend finds...a lot of stuff that I had to make several trips to the car.

But I picked up these no cart Nintendo Boxes with a few SNES and Gen boxes..Something like 70-75 of them
Each box has it's book/sleeve and extras if it came with any..the plastic seal is still on the boxes..

(The cool thing is I have 90 % of the carts loose for the boxes)

I paid $35.00 to a friend "vendor" who told me to just give him the $35.00 two weeks from now..

Someone grabbed around 30 of them before I got there for $1.00 each..
So he must of had a little over 100 ..(Damn my sleeping late)

But,who sells the carts loose without boxes when they have the box..?

What would a Nintendo box be generally worth with it's internals but no cart..?

Thank You..

The picture isnt very clear for me to really determine which boxes you have, but most boxes that are in good shape typically go for $3-4, sometimes more depending on the game. Good find.

you can't understand some people, you shouldn't even try to ;)

mh is it just me, or did you pay to much for those. they are not in good shape, at least not all of them, but you should still be able to make money on them, though it wouldn't be worth the work for me personally, i do own a few hundred spare manuals, but they are in better shape than those boxes...

you paid 50 cents a box? thats a good buy, in my opinion... even if some are a little beat up- you increased the value of those carts by at least a buck or two.
i woulda bought them if i didnt have them

If you list those on ebay, you will make a very nice return on your $35. Boxes and manuals are much rarer than carts. ebay prices are already starting to reflect this. If you told me I had to either throw out every cart I owned OR every box and manual I own, I would throw out the carts without hesitation. It would be infinitely more simple (and much cheaper) to just find all the loose carts again than it would be to replace the boxes and manuals.

If you are looking for a quick buck, split them into a few lots and throw them on ebay. Completist collectors (like myself) look for these sorts of ebay auctions to plug holes in their collections.

I'd gladly pay Daryll $2 for each one of those NES boxes with inserts. PM me if you want to sell!

Take another look..

I can send you big picks if you like..these boxes and the manuals inside are in prestine condition.

I just make the pictures smaller for easier viewing..

if they are mint your find is of course good, it'll be easy to find the missing lose carts ;)

I've been selling lots of books and boxes on the DP site for awhile now. you can get $2 a box and $1 a book. Any higher and very few people are interested.

I am willing to pay $2 a box and $ 1 a book if they are in good condition.

You can also shoot me a pm if you want to sell, but you might want to ebay them and see what happens. Just let us know when you do.

Can't go wrong with 50 cents a box. I've paid as much as $3 a box for the NES (But had my pick of what boxes I needed, and they were all in great condition), and $2 a manual (same situation). I prefer lower (as dave said), but take what you can get. :)

Thanks..
I have 90% of the carts to fill these...That's what I really want to do..
But the vendor called me saying he can get a bunch more..

I'm not sure if they will be doubles,or what games they are for..
They could be all Genesis boxes..
I'll know in 2-3 weeks.

Finding the few that I don't have will be a fun little treasure hunt..

I can get lots of boxed Nintendo games..It's just that the boxes at this one store are not in the best condition...

Prices range from,$5-7-10 on the boxed games there.

I have to look at the game names and make a list..

I want to see what I get fully before I make a list or determination on what I want to sell.

Thanks to all..

Knowing that 50 cent a box is a good price to pay I'll get the rest of them now..

Hey, I think I could make more then 50 cent on the sleeves alone in these boxes huh.."if" I had taken them out and sold them..

Heh, I'd be happy knowing somewhere to get boxes around my area, or having boxes for games I am collecting/have.
