Maybe this should be in the emlation forum. Check www.Zophar.net they should be able to hook you up.

What emulator are you using. Actually the truth is, the best 2600 emulation on WinXP is Z26. http://www.whimsey.com/z26/z26.html
to get it to run, all you do is go to a command prompt, type Z26 <gamename>.bin and off you go.

Cyberstella isn't all that bad, has a GUI, is pretty easy to configure, and is pretty compatible as well. Just crashes here and there for me unfortunately. We are really in need of a new fresh 2600 emulator.

Is it me or does Cyberstella have incredibly poor sound emulation.. Any of the stellas always seem to funk up the 2600's sounds no matter what version or computer I do them on :o You've intrigued me enough though to check the latest one out. :P But seriously, it's hard to get better than Z26 although I guess adding a GUI (like the old DOS one had) would be nice

Yeah, sound is kind of off on some games in Cyberstella, but in some others it's not that bad. I have all of my roms renamed in goodtools format (long filenames) and it really is a bitch to type in some long name at a command prompt...and as I really don't feel like renaming my roms for that convenience I would just rather use a GUI'd emulator to tell you the truth...even if the sound is slightly off.
