.. or so EBgames.com's web page tells me. That was a smart move, though it might have been a better PS1 release sense it is already being released at a $19.99 price..

Wasn't it already on the PS1, and not that great either?

NO, don't get these confused. Though I can't speak for the PS2 game, it is a port of the PC title, which was quite good. The PSX/PSOne game was among the worst games I've ever played and by far the worst classic gaming compilation ever made.
If this is true to the PC game it should be fine. There's really no substitute for a REAL Intellivision but the emulation is at least acceptable.

They're doing this for Xbox, too, I believe.

I'll field this one:
Oh yess, good god the PSX INTV disc is an abominiation. The ONLY reason I still have it in my collection is the interview segements are pretty good.

Oh YES.
It's even worse than Williams' Arcade Classics for the Game.com. Part of bad game design is not exploiting your system's powers. There's no reason why they couldn't have done a good job with the emulation of Intellivision on the PSX. And that's on TOP of the fact that the interface is brutal with the switching on and off of the keypad display on screen. These are things that were non-issues on the PC though they'll still have to deal with the management of the Intellivision keypad on the PS2, which could prove interesting (if not equally disastrous should they go the same route taken on the PSX version).

I was going to ask the exact same thing. ;-) I find it hard to believe that anything could be worse than that. I really need to see this thing in action now.
