I have an atari 2600, unfortunately, i put it on color mode and it only showes yellow, orange, and a very very slight blue (barely visible at all, only if you look hard at it). For some reason, it's also stuck on color mode, so i get B&W and yellow.. how could i fix this? Also there's foil around the switches connected to that metal box inside (Its an Atari 2600 4 switch). should i rip that off to get in the box?
**edit**
thanks for moving the topic, didnt notice there was a forum area for this kind of thing
Or maybe it's the simpler and more common problem of a mis-aligned color adjustment potentiometer (if that's what you'd call it.)
Try this. Open up the system, and look over toward the left side of the main board. You should see a little plastic adjustment disc/knob with a slot in it for a flat head screwdriver. Try turning this gently (it's fragile) while the system is on and connected to a TV. You should see the color balance change dramatically with just a small turn. See if you can find the right position to have all of your colors looking right.
Sorry if this is too obvious and you already tried it. Just throwing it out there!

Bro, not sure if you visit these boards anymore, but thanks for this tidbit. I just saved an Atari with your suggestion.
Thanks!
