I guess the times are over when u said:"My new DVD-player/MD-player etc is a SONY".At least here in Austria
Sony is overpriced in all the stuff they release(DVD,MD,Stereo,....).
I don't care what brand my electronic stuff has and I rather buy a Samsung/Universum/Aiwa DVD player for low cash than a expensive Sony product which hasn't half the features.
20000 ppl without jobs...... horrible :(

You know all those problems with Playstations and PS2s breaking?
Well, Sony's quality problems aren't exclusive to just videogames.

Maybe if Sony products didn't break so easily and often more people would be willing to purchase their products and this wouldn't have to happen.

Can't imagine the world without Sony, really. I don't think they can, either...possibly a result of trying to expand too far.
