Viewtiful Joe carrier bags ...

One of the game stores near me has a load of Capcom Europe "Viewtiful Joe" carrier bags in - pretty cool looking things. As I was in there trading in my black PS2 for a silver one (cost me a bit, but the thing was really on its last legs .. and this way I get two nice new pads as well!!) - I got the guy to throw in a load of these VJ plastic bags.

If anyone wants a couple, PM me, I reckon $2.50 will cover p&p to the US. PM me if interested. I'd post a pic, but my camera is packed to move house, and I have nowhere to host it anyway ...

Man ... I didn't realise 'carrier bag' was a UK only expression... I think that to you it would be a maybe a "plastic sack". Basically, 'a plastic thing they put your games in at the video game shop'

Description: it's a plastic bag with a big Viewtiful Joe on each side, doing some kinda ninja kick, and the VJ logo underneath him. One side is purple background, other side yellow & orange background. The artwork fills the whole bag, and there is a Capcom Europe logo bottom left, Gamecube logo bottom right on each side. Bag is about 30cm by 50cm, perhaps slightly bigger. That's about the best description I can give ...

oh, and I forgot to mention, the backgrounds aren't just plain colour, you can see the outlines of some kind of cityscape behind him. It's pretty cool :-D My freind made me promise to get him one when I showed him one I got last week when I bought a game... so I sweet talked them into giving me an armful. Given that I traded them in an extremely dodgy PS2 I feel *slightly* guilty about blagging extras... but then again, they did sell me the dodgy PS2 to start with, so I feel justified!!

I have either posted, or will post tomorrow, to everyone who has requested one of these .. but there is a minor problem. There is a postal strike going on here at the moment. It is mainly only affecting London at the moment, but some other areas too. I am not sure if it will affect international post, since I am posting it from Bristol .. but it might have to go through London, I don't know.

Anyway ... what I am saying is, these things might get delayed (even when the strike finishes, it has been going on for nearly two weeks now, so there is going to be an enourmous backlog ...)

Sorry about that guys, but I just wanted to assure you that they have all been posted... hopefully they won't be affected at all :o

OK, orders are definitely closed now for these! Two reasons ... a) I have run out of the bags, and b) I am moving tomorrow and won't have reliable internet access for some time. All those who have sent me the money will get one ... but from this point on, no more!! Oh, and Asylum Seeker, I have saved one for you in case you want it ... but since everything is packed away it may be some time before I can get it to you ...
