i dont know... im dissapointed with this game right from the get go...
sure, it seems large, and plenty of stuff to do... but did we really need missions that involve driving and running/jumpin to complete them?
i mean... thats just stupid.
sure, they mixed the formula up some- so now, what you have is a great skateboarding game mxed in with a poor GTA 3 clone.... the two dont mix, in my opinion... the friggin non-skating objectives piss me off- a LOT.
anyone that loves the THPS series and is thinking about spending hard earned cash on this.... rent it before you buy it, to make sure you dig this set up.

I've already pretty much decided that I don't like the THUG setup...and I will be waiting for $15 or less before buying it.

But, I did pick up this nifty game called Whirl Tour today for $5 new (Gamecube version at EBGames)...it's like old school Tony Hawk, but on scooters. And better than the Razor scooter games...so far, I'm still on the first level, but you get decent sized levels...lots of objectives, and pretty decent music. It was released by Vivendi Universal, but the Crave team did have a hand in it...

It may not be as polished as THPS...but it is a fun little game, and for $5 NEW you can't pass this one up. I would suggest checking it out :)

Did I mention it was only $5 new??? :)

Yeh, the driving missions are annoying as Hell, but the rest of the game more than makes up for it. I still wuv the game. ^_^

I picked up the game the game yesterday. So far, I have only played story mode. It's fun, but THPS 3 is still my favorite of the series. I was not a big fan of THPS 4. But, again, this is just another game biting off the GTA 3 model. I'll probably go online with this game tonight...
