Anyone here still playing Morrowind on the Xbox?
Until last night, I hadnt since May. Well, today the game of the year edition comes out, finally, and it has add ons from the pc version! I will be picking it up on the way home and will probably spend several hours I should be studying playing it tonite. I cant wait to see the new characters and areas, and I cant wait to have a debugged version (the main reason I quit playing was frustration over disk read errors)

Sorry to disappoint, but it's been bumped to early November.
Honestly I haven't played it due to the possible bugs I may run into down the road. I know there are workarounds but why should I perform workarounds on a game that should be functionally sound? I don't want to invest a lot of time to have my game come crashing down around my ears.

Sounds great if they fixed it up some. I played it on the 'box for quite a while, memory bugs and all. I heard that they were going to release the game + expansion pack...is that only on the GOTY edition?

Hadn't heard it was bumped, again. to November. That sucks man, as I have been looking forward to it.
Oh well, I guess I'll just have to play my 'old' version for now. Maybe I'll take out my badass guy and go on a killing spree!

Oh yeah, I'll definitely pick up GOTY. I almost bought the PC version just to have access to the expansion packs, and it'll be even sweeter if this one actually does fix the problems the first game had. My wood elf is itchin' for some more action. LOL

I have a Redguard that I beat the main quest with and an Elf (?) that I killed the wrong people with and am stuck about 2 steps from finishing the main quest. The 2nd guy is a real badass, has crazy magic abilities, and has about every badass weapon you could want. I wish I had had the book prior to using him, as I ruined my chance on the main quest. I will use him for the GOTY expansions first, as I dont think he can die (he's that bad!)
God, I sound like such a geek!

I dunno about you guys but I invariably wind up going on a murder spree about 3/4's into these Daggerfall games when I'm bored and frustrated and tired of their crap graphics and interface.

Heh, my guy (a Breton) has some mad crazy skills too. I used the permanent weapon enchantment to stat increase bug a bunch, and I actually didn't save the final go of strength increase 'cuz it made me hover in the air for about five seconds on a jump :D
Great spell to make is what I named the "Ed Oscuro Rocketjump" -- create a spell with a duration of 2 or 3 that increases your jump by the maximum amount. Doesn't eat too many magic points, you take minimum damage when you land, and helps you get places in a hurry. A good replacement for those silly Tarhiel's scrolls you find early on.

I dont know about the "bugs" in the game to cheat/artificially enhance the characters/weapons.
The only one I've used is the one from the website that tells how to replenish health/magic. I cant imagine making either of my guys more powerful, well maybe make the Redguard a little better magic wise, but the other guy is just too badass to mess with.

Old news, people. I bought the PC version and the add-on's as soon as they came out. LOL
Let me know if you guys need any help. LOL
Tribunal is only average, but Bloodmoon ROCKS! 8-)

I see what you mean. Tribunal looks just like an extension of the story, but Bloodmoon looks like a whole new world. Really like the screenshots up at Bethesda's site.

Actually, a PC version of GOTY is shipping for $29.99 around the same time as the Xbox version. I've seriously considered getting it instead of the Xbox version (esp. now that I have a good PC, it has the TES, and can run custom mods), but I'm not sure I can let go of my character and start from scratch. :)

that would be my concern too - I dont have another coupla months free time to build up a character, do the quests, get the skills, and all. I also dont have a great pc for gaming and am too damned cheap to go buy another. I am so pissed that they keep putting this off!
