This originally sold in the Nintendo Fun Club Newsletter, a precursor to Nintendo Power. There was a second book which covered The Legend of Zelda, also. They are pretty rare nowadays, and considering the condition that one's in, I'd say it's a nice collector's item.

Great, nice condition! I love it.
Yeah, you could order it in the Fun Club mag, and also until around 1990 it's offered in Nintendo Power. I ordered it with the similar Zelda booklet in 1990, and still have them both, unfortunately, the Zelda booklet didn't arrive in good condition.
This is probably the earliest "startegy guide" published by Nintendo in the US dedicated to one game. It's really nice to have.

Oh, it was in there well after 1990, I think. (I wonder if "world's most popular video game" really applied at the time?) Until now, I thought it was a paperback like those third-party "How to Win at Nintendo Games" books.

Hey, I think I have those, how much are they worth? Not that I want to sell them, I am just curious.
