Out of all those FZero GX guides I blew out in the Buying and Selling forum, I sold one.

The user is cokigroc you may want to add her to your banned bidder list.

Here is an excerpt from the auction:

I accept Paypal only! I will not accept credit card payments through paypal! I will only accept payments from accounts backed and funded by an actual bank account or with a remaining balance in them! I will also only ship to a confirmed address!

This auction is open to anyone in the USA, or Canada, but please keep in mind that I will not mark this as a gift as to circumvent customs. If you live in another country and wish to bid, please contact me. I am sure we can work something out.

So? I think I covered my butt pretty well here. I clarified just about every single problem I could think of.

Well cokigroc here is from Spain. Never emailed me first like I asked. Had I known this, I would have blocked her bids due to her crappy feedback. (She's at 50% positive, and has a 0 feedback rating....tell you anything?)

Anyway, I try to go through the unwelcome buyer process at eBay, which they route me to Spain, so I just get a bunch of emails in Spanish that I can't read. I run it through freetranslations.com and they are no help whatsoever. They all basically say "Thank you for your email, we care, if you have anymore problems, please contact us," nothing about helping me about my current problem.

So I said forget it. i'll just try and complete this anyway, I need the feedback.

I tell her the total will be $10 and then she asks me for another guide and a GBPlayer (yeah right, this one guide isnt even protected). I tell her no.

She then asks me if she can send me 12 Euro.

WTF?! I have no use for Euro in the US! I tell her I can only take US Dollarx.

She says "okay, I will convert it, whats your address?"

I told her three times in addition to the item description that I only take paypal, each time referring her back to the item description. She just doesn't get it!

I may just hop on a plane and hand deliver this guide straight up her left nostril

I'm in a simular situation. I have a winning bidder that is 27 days late on their payment. I have sent out 2 invoices and 4 e-mails with all the payment infomation in them, and they still e-mail me needing the payment infomation. I have give them 4 days to make payment or the instructions get re-listed. I don't know why they are dragging their feet, they got a great deal. It was for 52 instructions for Nintendo, Super Nintendo, PlayStation, and Game Boy. It sold for $10.01 plus $5.50 shipping.

I think from now on, before you submit your bid, sellers should be allowed to make a pop quiz, quizzing potential bidders on wether they understand the rules of the auction. Today alone, I have had someone:

1. Send me an email stating they are sending me a $10 check in the mail. For one, they are NPB already and I told them monday that payment needs to be in my hand by today. Today is when I got the email. Second, it states in my auctions that no personal checks are taken, yet they said they sent me a check.

2. Someone bids and "assumes" that I would send it to her friend that lives in another state, when my auctions specifically state that I will only send to confirmed addresses. When I say I won't yet again in an email, she pulls a "woe is me! my feedback is perfect, I'm a student! I don't have the money!" well guess what? So am I and I don't have the money to spare if you claim it never showed up. She even stated she should have asked first.

When you assume you make an "ass" out of "u" and "me"

yeah, and yet those people sometimes have children...sad

Here's a saying my auto tech teacher always says when people complain about not having money.

"well neither do I , thats why I want yours".

Dammit.

I clearly state in all of my auctions that I CANNOT accept credit cards, so why is it that ever other moron tries to pay with one?!

The worst part is being nice about it. I'd much rather say "Hey you illiterate dumbass....."

Be sure you file an eBay NPB on them, too.

I've been thinking about that, as this will be the first on that I've had to file. I have been "easy" on buyers in the past, and I'm getting feed up with it.

He probably doesn't have a premier pay-pal account (or whatever it's called) , so they only allow pay-pal payments from existing funds or bank accounts. You have to upgrade and pay the fee to be able to accept credit cards.

I'll take that deal :)

Do you even have to wait that long for a payment...I would have filed a NPB a long time ago if I were you. If you don't get paid in half that time, I think its safe to assume your not going to get paid at all.

ARGH!

Thats the third freaking time in a row some one has tried to pay me with a credit card! I even bolded that I would NOT accept them!

farhadi1964 and sbuckles702 are both asshats.

All I need is 7.50 so I can complete a purchase with carnage6.

Due to consistent bad luck with morons, I am waiting for $40.

I want to strangle some of these guys so badly right now
