...for less than $30, that is. I mean, that's 3/10 the price of the damn console not including the shipping cost!
Pelican was supposed to come out with one awhile ago, but nobody seems to have them (and I doubt their existance).
Help!

I remember seeing them on Pelicans website and E-mailed them about a release date. I never got a response. I just went and paid Nintendo's stupid high price and said screw it. My buddy works at EB and there's nothing in their computers, so you may be SOL.

Man, what's the deal with GC component video cables? The GC supports progressive scan in almost all games, and yet there are NO 3rd party cables. You have to order the damned things from Nintendo. Even PS2 component cables can be found in store, and there are at least 2 or 3 3rd party versions. Is Nintendo trying to leverage some stupid patent laws or something to keep the monopoly on component video cables?

I don't know, this has been bugging me for years, if you find ANY 3rd party cables, please let me know. I've checked hundreds of websites, and no luck.

So, Nintendo at least makes them? How much do they charge?

Nintendo charges $30 plus shipping....way too much considering they come in a cheap plastic bag with no instructions on how to actually use progressive scan. Had to post here just to figure it out..

I ordered a set about 6 months ago. I can't believe that you still have to use the composite cable to get the audio out! Just make sure when you order to pick up some parts to make it worthwhile. I ordered some rubber feet for the Virtual Boy for 50 cents a set and several GB/GBC replacement screens with the removal tool (just a stick-on cup hook). If you order items that are light in weight then you'll pay nothing more in shipping.
