Today's environmental/dedicated cabs seem to be strictly relegated to the racing genre, but I remember back in the good ole days when simple games like Discs of Tron got really cool Environmental cabs to go with them. Just wanted to know which ones you thought were special, unique, and just plain enhanced the gameplay experience for you.

G-Loc: This is the craziest, most moveable environmental I've ever seen, but the damndest thing is, I never had a chance to play this. I've only seen it one time at Cedar Point's arcade and the line to play was huge. It looked so cool, anyone have experience on this thing?

Star Trek SOS: The game isn't even that great, but playing this in the Environmental gave a good sense of being at the helm of an attack star ship. I absolutely loved the controls, with the dial and all those buttons to use.

Tron and Discs of Tron: For me, the tight fit of these Environmentals, along with the small doorways heightened an already great pair of games. The relatively small space allowed for the gamer made it pretty dark inside the cabinet, which is always good, and of course it enhances the great sound fx present in the game, especially in DoT. Maybe, just maybe, the small space also enhances your sense of immediacy as well, kind of heightening the tension due to a little claustrophobia.
