Is there any way to get games that do not support the vga box to work?

Get a DC-X converter disc. Not only will it let you play any region of DC game on any region console, it will let you play ALL games via the VGA box whether the game supports it or not, although the picture may not be as sharp as it would on games that do support it.

Not quite all games, it seems. I have a European Shenmue that won't work with it for sure. Sucks too, as I want to use the Euro version to beat the game so I can use the saves on Shenmue II.
I think it has a few other problems playing imports in VGA mode...
