There's got to be something wrong here, but I can't see what...

Well, it's not like it has a BIN price of 1 cent. That auction still has 3 days to go.

The pre-approved bidder part..he probably didn't reply to anyone yet to add them to the list, thus no bids

Oh, I didn't see that.

This auction will open for bidding 2 hours before its close to approved bidders only
Click Here to Become an Approved Bidder (opens About Me page)

Why would someone do it this way?

HUH? If I'm understanding that correctly, even if you DO become an Approved Bidder, you still have to wait 2 hours before auction ends to bid?

Maybe it's some kind of small scam where when you email, he tells you that he can sell you info to get an iPod for $10 or something.

Or maybe he does have an iPod for sale & offers to sell it to you outside of eBay when you email.

If it ends with no bids then we'll know it was a scam, or at very least a clever way to avoid eBay fees.

I'm surprised no one here has seen this kind of auction before.

The deal is, by making everyone wait until 2 hours before the auction ends, you get a big bidding orgy at the end. This can tend to drive the final price up quite a bit.

That is, unless you're smart and you stay away from this type of auction.

The auction ended at 320 USm, and reserve was not met!!!!

How much does this guy want to get for an ipod? 500 US????? x_x
