Question: I have a battery charger for NMHI (or NiMH...cant remember the name) and batteries that I use for my digital camera, they last pretty long.

Since I already have the charger, could I use this type of battery in my Turbo Express?

Sure. I use those same rechargeables for my Turbo Express and they work great.

They wear out pretty quickly, though... and the nimh jobs aren't cheap.

I use a generic AC Adaptor that I picked up at radioshack. Of course that doesnt help for playing on the go, but the TG-Express is way to heavy for me to bring anywhere with me as long as I could bring my GBA. If the TV tuner is on the agenda though, then I might bring it. Pretty rare that my TG-Express makes it out of it's original box these days anyway...

I was lucky to get an original AC adapter and Car adapter Free for the Turbo Express when I bought it..
I've never used either though..

My Turbo Express is very loud..The loudest one I've ever heard.

Sometimes I use rechargeables for my Turbo Express and they work fine..
I've never killed a set of regular batteries in it either..
I guess that depends on how long you play it..
For me sitting on the Bowl with it.. LOL Doesn't quite cut as being enough time to kill a set of batteries.. :D O_O

If I remember correctly, it sucks batteries almost as fast as the Nomad. That would mean it would wear out rechargeables pretty darn fast!

I can confirm this... that's what I was saying up above. It really does kill them quickly.
