OK maybe I am insane, but below are my 3 favorite games ever. Which is best, or am I just plain wrong?
Tecmo Super Bowl - NES
Star Control - Genesis
Project Gotham Racing - XBox

Nothing is ever "wrong" when it comes to personal preference. I personally prefer:
NES - Contra
SNES - Shadowrun
PS2 - Gran Turismo 3
Although I will say that Tecmo Super Bowl is a damn good game.

Oh boy, this is gonna start a debate:
I dont know if you have ever played Project Gotham Racing, but I have played it as well as Gran Turismo 3 and in my oppinion there is no comparison. I understand that the two games have a diffrent "style", but if you are like me and prefere "realism" and "fun" then Gotham is the winner.

I'd say if you prefer frustration, Gotham's your game. GT3 is more accessible, and has plenty more vehicles to choose from. As much as I like driving exotic cars in PGR, GT3's use of more common daily-drivers like the Accord or AE86(Corolla) have a more down-to earth feel. You can find exotics in plenty of games.
In my eyes, the only thing that PGR has over GT3 is the custom soundtracks, which is a pretty major thing in my eyes.
I'm sure PGR2 will be great. :)

I had PGR... I think you can get my drift. But, on topic, my favorite game of all time would have to be Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seve nStars. Perfection.

Damn. This is tough but I'd say my top 3 are:
Cardfighter's Clash (NGPC)
Unreal Tournament (DC) <--you had to be there when it was online
Ms. Pac Man (arcade)
damnit, that doesn't sound anywhere NEAR right, but oh well.

See.... @ GT3....I thought that game was completely UN-accesible for the average gamer. I tried to play it and I couldn't hardly stay on the track. But maybe modern racing games aren't for the likes of me :D
As for my favorite 3 games EVER? Um. Uh. Well. I think Final Fantasy 3, X-Com: UFO Defense, and, um, Snatcher. I think.

I thought GT3 had a little bit TOO much replayability. I lost interest in the whole "buy new springs" for your car thing. I really just wanted to race cars and have fun. I just didn't seem to have the time to invest to get anywhere in that game.
Back on topic, I love Tecmo Bowl, both for the NES and SNES. I always run that long bomb play to the sideline, works every time!
