And I mean "takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin" type of tough! Yesterday I was rearranging my living room. I have all 3 of the newer consoles on top of my 55" widescreen, so they're about 5' off og teh ground. In my laziness, I tried to move it without moving them. My Gamecube was the only victim. There is now a dent on one for the corners, and a small piece of plastic broke off, but it still works! It didn't make Ikaruga any easier though, unfortuneately.

Yeah, he pulls it behind the car for a couple miles and it still boots right up and plays a game. Then he says "I told you nintendo sucks" or something like that.

I've had the displeasure of watching that movie, unfortunately...yeah, it's amazing that the thing still plays after they bash it around for a while.

I have a tradition now, it seems, of dropping my current Nintendo consoles on the floor, once with my N64 (only once thankfully) and now once with my GameCube! @_@

Interestingly, it kept playing the game without skipping, and the only evidence is that the front right corner of my GameBoy Player is dented. That's all.

I've dropped my cube at least 4 times and had it bounce across the linoleum of our kitchen. Spilled water in it the other day too. Damn thing still works like the day I bought it. It's amazing! :)

I've dropped my GBASP multiple times (Once ti fell out of my pocket at the movies), but it still looks and plays fine (Except for the one piece of dust in it... shoddy design I think).

I shipped a GCN to a friend in the UK and when he received it, something had punctured the shipping box, crossed the 3 inch void around the GCN box, punctured the GCN box and finally had driven a hole right into the GCN.

It worked fine... ;)
