I wish my SNES was that minty fresh out of the box!

Someone nastily asked me if the color of the system was faded or yellowed and the answer is NO. This is in brand new condition. If it was yellowed or faded it would be the same on every single part of the machine, plus the sticker on the back would be yellowed as well if it were.. THIS IS THE ORIGINAL COLOR OF THE MACHINE!!

Hes pissed off at the curious bidder because he asked him if the thing was faded? wtf is with that? I really dont like cornbread color machines, but this thing does look brand spanking new...

It doesn't look at ALL new. You only get that two-tone look if you've used one extensively. I can clean up an old SNES and have it look nicer than that. He's just a scammer that doesn't know what he's talking about.

The two-tone look is from the plastic changing colour and has nothing to do with the use of the machine.

He is an idiot for venting his frustrations in the auction text though.. LOL

It is pretty clean though. It looks a hell of a lot better than my worn out machine.
To bad you couldnt just take off the yellow color with something, because then he could have a full proof plan. LOL

(This system is an older system but is new because it has never been used besides to play once to test it)

I think he meant

(This system is an older system but is new because it has never been used besides the times I opened it up and used it)

The cornbread thing does happen with age, but by my experience, it usually happens due to exposure to sunlight.

Here's my new custom eBay translator.

NEW = I have most of the stuff that came with it when someone (not me) bought it.

MINT IN BOX ONLY OPENED TO PHOTOGRAPH ITEM = I found a box to go with this old piece of shit system I've been trying to sell.

ITEM IS LIKE NEW = Item probably works, and looks "like" one that they used to sell.

ITEM SOLD AS-IS UNTESTED = There is no way in hell this item works. If it did, I would have listed it as WORKING and made a lot more money.

ITEM IS BROKEN BUT EASILY FIXABLE = It was so easily fixable that I decided to sell it broken instead of fix it and sell it for a lot more money.

Maybe it's the person who e-mailed and asked if it was really new and the seller was a smartass about it. :D
