I happened upon this great tutorial site and figured I'd share it with you guys and gals since questions always seem to arise on how to download from the newsgroups:

You forgot to mention the most important part... newsgroups are your friend! Requests are usually filled within a day (assuming they are reasonable) and sooner or later EVERYTHING turns up, and I mean EVERYTHING.
