xbox remote control power button

Has anybody out there figured out a way to turn the xbox on and off with a remote control? I have a learning remote but the original xbox remote does not have a power button. Help. Please. Anybody... :(

I've heard you can't do it.

I'm interested as well omnedon. I know you gave me a little infor in the past, but I don't remember it all. I mostly want to put a new harddrive in, but this would help too. I hate having to get up to turn the damn thing off. I like to watch movies as I fall asleep.
