I guess the collection that I'm the closest to completing is for my Virtual Boy... yeah, I have a Virtual Boy, and I probably need only about thirty or so games for it, considering the fact that it didn't get much of a chance to prosper.

I need 1 game to complete my U.S. Odyssey2 collection. You guessed it... Power Lords. But unless I happen to find one at a flea market, I doubt I'll ever shell out the $$$ for it. I just don't have the extra money.

Beyond that, I have no idea. I'm too cheap to really be much of a completist. :)

The main collections I'm focusing on are the Virtual Boy (all US and Japan releases) and NES. My NES collection only needs 84 more carts 'till it's finished. I already have most of the rare titles out of the way, so it shouldn't be that hard to complete. I'm expecting sometime in 2004.

I've got a darn-near-complete O2 collection - actually, it is complete by most people's standards, I'm just hoping to pick up the Baer pinball demo cart at some point, and maybe a few Videopac or Brazilian imports, and that's about it for that system.

Everything else...quite a few gaps. Especially 2600, in terms of being anywhere near the complete NTSC library, which I'm really, really not. I'm probably closest to having a complete 5200 or Magnavox Odyssey collection, and even with the 5200 I'm quite a ways off. At this point, I'm giving it a rest so I can move it all - and play some more.

I'm a couple manuals & a pair of overlays shy of having a complete in box 5200 collection. It sucks when you start inventorying the collection and find holes! x_x Odd I had a wanted list, and then I updated it and left one title off my needed. Then realize and find out the manual is not correct either! It's a copy of the manual, not an original. But it's coming to an end finally. Now to add little things, like new homebrews & projects, and accessories and what nots. Custom controllers and things. There will always be new pieces to add to the collection!

Nothing else is really of interest right now for a "complete" collection I've been buying lots of MVS carts but I will never own them all. And I think I'm around 10 shy from a complete 7800 collection as well, but have lost interest in it and will probably sell off what I now own. :embarrassed: So the 5200 will be the only one. 8-)

My closest collection to completion is certainly the Arcadia - I only really need Spiders and Grand SlamTennis. But ever since I picked up the Multicart, my desire to finish it has been about zero. I may end up trading/selling the entire thing (minus the console and Multi, hehe) in the near future.

My Sonic collection is nearly there, too... at least in terms of games. I need Sonic Drift 2 Game Gear, Tails' Sky Patrol Game Gear, Tails' Adventure Game Gear, and the two Pico games (one for Sonic and one for Tails.) I also don't have the GBA titles, or Sonic DX for the Cube, but those are pretty much available whenever I decide to tack them on. In the meantime, I'm going to start filling in the foreign variations (Sonic CD Mega CD anyone?) Frightening, eh? ;)

Eh, sorry I didn't catch this earlier...

The CPS Changer could use (according to Assembler, Link! (http://assembler.roarvgm.com/CPS_CHANGER/cps_changer.html)) CPS "B" boards, but had a number of special "B" boards manufactured for it as well.

Assembler lists Bionic Commando among the games made specifically for this home system, which rules.

This does bring up an interesting point (snip of text from Assembler):


On one trip, I saw several boards for sale as normal CPS packs.

In other words, you should be able to use these in a normal CPS system!

I'm gonna see about getting one of these and some games as soon as I can.

I REALLY should be focusing on NES manuals/boxes, as I need less than 100 manuals, and around 300 boxes. In 8 months, I plan to go stupid on PAL NES. Like every cart for every country that has NES carts stupid. All of Europe, Brazil, Asian countries, and so on. I don't even want to think of how many games I'll end up with.

Was planning on having custom shelves built so I could have them all single faced, but my procrastination / laziness has kicked in for far too long. Which is killing me because the other 2500 games are all nice and organized.

I think I'm off Tuesday...if I am, I'll probably just break down and go buy a generic shelf and get them bulk stacked. I want my Room of Doom feature darn it! :D
