When do YOU leave neutral or even negative feedbacks?

When do YOU leave neutral or even negative feedbacks?
Only when I am blatantly lied to or cheated. If something is questionable, I don't bother leaving feedback.
As my grandfather used to tell me, "Never get into a pissing match with a skunk."
Unfortunately, he died suddenly after getting into a pissing match with an elephant.

Well wondering this since I won an auction last week, and sent the MO out and when I got home I emailed the seller to contact me when payment reaches him and for when he ships the item. That was last week sometime and still no emails back from him. Today I sent another one through ebay so I'll get a copy for my records. Was reading feedbacks and they're all pretty posistive, except for a few neutrals and negatives saying about he never got back to anyone's emails, the amount of time between paying and recieving the item, and so forth.

Lots of sellers don't email the bidder when the payment comes, even if it is requested. I've been guilty of it before because I'm busy with other things, instead of sifting through email addresses to send a "got payment". Usually if someone emails asking if I've gotten their payment I'll reply.

I don't email people back when I recive payment or when I ship the item.
Sometimes I do, but not very often and only if they request it.
For someone like me who does 20 auctions a week, no way I am sending out 40 emails to tell the person payment was recieved and item sent.
Only leave a neg if you don't get the item or if it takes 60 days to get to you.

I left a negative once. I had bought a guitar for my uncle. It was described as mint in the listing, and the pictures all looked good too. But when it came it was really scratched up on the back side.
I wrote the guy and asked him about it. I told him it was in no way mint and that my uncle was really disappointed. He said something along the lines of "I think I did a good job of describing it" or some BS like that. What he did a good job of was misrepresenting it. So I neged him. Fortunately he had already left me a positive and couldn't strike back.
He did respond to the feedback, though. He said "look at my feedback and look at his!", which I thought was quite funny, considering my feedback is perfect and he had about 30 or so negs at the time.

I end up leaving a negative at least once every month or so.
I'll put up about 30 or so auctions a month and always get at least one or two who never follow through.
Hey, they don't want to pay or even respond to my emails? Fuck 'em. A negative they'll get. :moon:

The problem is that when you give negative feedback you'll almost always draw retaliatory feedback. Sometimes, you just can't win.

Feedback on e-bay is a joke, no major sellers leave any negatives, why? because you'll just get a negative retaliatory feedback, it used to be that big sellers could dispute these directly with e-bay, now, it costs 20$ to get feedback removed no matter how rediculous the matter, it's all a #'s game, that's what happens when you have one company own a monopoly over the entire auction trade, E-bay=Squaretrade=Paypal, go figure

If I have been lied to.
If my order was wrong and they did nothing to fix it.
I always wait 89 days to do it too.

$20 - as far as I know, you can't get feedback remove at all (except under very specific guidlines)?

You can through SquareTrade.com
I think its a crock though.
I asked if they would remove the feedback if the person was a confirmed NPB in the auction and question. The only way is through SquareTrade.

is there anu way to get your money back from a mo?? i sent a mo of 460 and nothing has came . I think that you can wait 30 days and then go to the post office (if that's where you bought it), and file a claim with them. I've not had to do this, but in my few years on E-Bay, this is what I see that most people post. I wish you luck,

Dude, it's always a family emergency. I hear that about once a week. You'd think it was a civil war or something.

Was thinking of doing this myself on my recent ripoff seller. Question here though. Does yours/and his chance to leave feedback end at the end of the 90th day, or at the end of the 89th day after the sale ended. And does the feedback option dissappear at the same 'time' as the original sale. I tried watching this on my last ebay item, and only noted that after 90days, the feedback option was gone!
Just wondering, 'cause I woud like to slap this idiot without giving him the chance to 'feedback' me... ;)
