Since there is no gamecube rarity list on this site yet i figured it's time we get a list going.We want your opinion.
So far the rarest gamecube games seem to be:
Men in black 2: Alien escape
Superman:Shadow of apokolips
and Disney sports basketball.

But yeah, Cubivore is definitely on there.

No shit? That games pretty common aroung here, i guess ill have to make a purchase. Also the gamecube in store demo discs.

Since when is Superman: Shadow of Apokolips hard to find? Same for MIB 2, which is bargain around these parts. Cubivore is fairly scarce tho.......

All of those seem pretty common in my parts. The only one that is marginally hard to find is Cubivore. There are plenty of copies, but none complete. They seem to always be missing instructions, case or are being sold as new but opened. Damn Gamestop...

yeah ncaa 2k3 is pretty rare, super bubble pop didnt sell much, and ive had some trouble with redcard 20-03

What is Cubivore worth? I saw one at a Gamestop over the weekend for $15-20. Had the case, not sure about instructions......is it worth that?

That was probably me. According to the june NPD sales chart it sold 4868 copies. Anyone remember when the sega gc sport lineup discontinued?

Perhaps Spirits and Spells, other games i havnt seen are PK out of the shadows and Casper spirit dimensions.

On a related note, someone mentioned Skies of Arcadia. I got this from Best Buy a few weeks ago for $9.99. I didn't even open it up yet. I see on Ebay that the going rate for a complete copy is somewhere between $25 and $40. Anyone think this game will actually be worth anything one day? Should I leave it sealed or open it up and play it?

Hell for 10 bucks just buy another one and keep it for safe keeping and open the other one.

I see on Ebay that the going rate for a complete copy is somewhere between $25 and $40. Anyone think this game will actually be worth anything one day? Should I leave it sealed or open it up and play it?
Damn, I could use that game. I can't find it for less than $50 used here!

Doonz, if I could find another, I'd buy it in a second! This is the only one I've seen at any Best Buys near me.
This seems like a great game and one I'd be interested in playing, but it would also be cool to leave it sealed if it may be a collector's piece someday.....

I bought SoA because I heard it was great on the DC and I wanted an RPG game back in March. I even did the review for it. It didn't that well in the US? I'm surprised sadly...

i dont think i ever saw cubivore around here, even when it came out... i never have even seen a used copy.

As mentioned before, QoF and I found two copies in one shop in May. There were no other copies at any of the other stores we went to. She hadn't seen it about before and I don't believe she's seen it since. I believe there's a second printing coming...

I ordered it the same from Best Buy - $10 - then they cancelled my order. When I asked why they cancelled it, they told me that they couldn't get any more copies of the game.
I don't know if it's particularly *rare*, per se - Toys R Us is still selling them at $50 a pop, I believe - but I don't think you'll ever see it for $10 again.
