I'm still playing it on my buddy's PS2, but now that it's out for PC in the US, I'm just curious who else picked it up...
FFXI is the first MMORPG I've ever really had any interest in - especially now that I've got Japanese and American players to play with. Good design and plenty to do...
Anyways, if you can, please list your character name, server, or just your thoughts on the game.

How are you still playing it on PS2? I was a beta tester, and the beta ended weeks ago....

Otherwise known as the Japanese version. ;) My friend let me borrow it when he got the Japanese PC version, so...
I'll be opting for the hi-res PC version once I finish building myself a computer (a 300 MHz laptop won't cut it, I guess) - even if I knew all of the kanji the Japanese players were using, I couldn't read half of it when it's so blurry!

Glad to hear people are affording it. I don't have the money or the time to play it right now, but I do intend to get the PC version when I can.
