I can't find the magazine to scan right now, but I remember an ad for a contest in some old SWATPro magazine. The machine seemed to connect tothe Genesis and let u play multiple games at once. You would put 8 carts in the slots, and press a button for each game. Was this real, or just bullshit?

I'm not sure if it was for sale to the general public, but I know they do exist because my local Sears in the mall had one that had several Genesis games plugged into it (the display unit). So they do exist, but I'm not sure in what quantity...

Something called a Video Jukebox right?? I've never seen one...I have read that it was released for Genesis, SNES, and Jaguar...

I don't think it was quite the same as the kiosks Dr. Justin remembers, very similar, but not identical...although I do recall those changers at Sears back then.

This came up in March, actually. Here's the device in question:

And here's the thread in which it's kind of discussed:

ClubNinja: is there any way you could get a closeup picture of the company logo in that ad? Let's just say I know someone with those initials that would be very happy to have that as an avatar :)

Heh, looks like one of those 6-cart Genesis display boards, but I think those were first party.

Sorry, didn't realize it was already discussed. Does anybody happen to have one here?

Heh, funny thought...take one of these and plug eight more into it via a cord. Not quite a daisy chain of Genesis hardware, but close >)

I think that was mentioned in the ad too. U could stack, like, 10 on top of each other and just have your entire library at your finger tips.

By the way, should anyone have access to one of these, it's one of the few items that I'd trade my testicles for. Excellent condition, mint in package. Who knows when an extra set might come in handy? Just keep that in mind kids!

If this trade happens, I'm telling Emily.

Ah, Emily. Anyone have her contact info yet?

*Music, flowers, sunshine*

Ahem. Where was I? Oh yeah, my goods for this good.

Does ooged mean "flattered and love-struck"? If so, then yes.

*And* I wasted 30 minutes before lunch trying to research this tasty treat (the Jukebox, not the girl) and had little success. Apparently, some guy was selling one for $20 on a Yahoo group in '99, though. Pisser.
