The Media Play on Eureka and Rocho (?) has an anime club that just started up today.
We watched three shows, got free food, and the best part after that was the sale after.
Club people get a 15% off discount on everything not on sale or clearance.
Not a terribly great deal, but I got $7.50 off my Game Boy Player.

I saw the ad for that, but then I realized, anime clubs are notorious for being unclean.
The one they had at U of M Dearborn back a few years was really good for Pokemon competition though.

Oh yeah its every other Saturday, so the next one will be two weeks from today.
As for cleanliness, it didn't seem so bad. There were a few unclean wannabe goths, but thats about it. It was held at the back of the store where the 4 screen TV is.
Besides, you really don't even have to stay. Just get your stuff, go up to the counter and say you're part of the anime club...

Ugh. All that talk of the "unwashed" gamers makes me cringe. Take the advice of fellow gamer Del The Funky Homosapien: "Wash yo ass if you must, or else ya be fun-kay!"

I don't think he was refering to unwashed gamers, just downriver residents in general. BTW was this event held in Garbage City, Trailer or Wasteland?

So I am a disgusting dirty person just because I live downriver?
What a completely uncalled for and incredibly rude comment....
FYI, I WAS referring to only 2 people.

Oh please. The 4th Saturday of every month. That usually means I get February off :D No harm no foul.
The avatar is Domokun, NHK mascot of a Japanese TV station.
