Who here is playing Top Spin for Xbox? XSN is supposed to be ready for this game by the end of next week. Is there enough people here with the game and Live access to set up a Digital Press members tournament? Post here if interested, and if we have enough people, I'll set one up.

Oh yeah, and if anyone is looking for a match, look me up! My gamertag is Norkusa and I'll be on and off most of today.

Digital Press Live Match!?! Great. Count me in.

Live tag is TVs Hasselhoff.

If anyone is signed up for the Xbox retail site, by the way, Top Spin has been making an appearance there. For $9 shipping, its a steal.

Can anyone help with me this game? Not playing it, trying to like it. Maybe it's because I'm so infatuated with Virtua Tennis, but I simply can't enjoy my self with this one. I know there's a great game here since every review has been more than glowing, but I can't stand this damned game. The controls seem so off (I always seem to be going in the opposite direction I'm pressing), the pace of play is so much slower than VT, the lack of a save point in between rounds in tourney's is downright dumb, the risk shots ruin any balance this game could've had (once you've got them down, it's game over), and career mode simply doesn't grab me. Can anyone here give me a hand? What am I missing? I only paid the $9 as mentioned above so it's not that I feel I'm out the cash either. I'm pleading for someone to come through here. I really want to enjoy this one but it seems like I'm the only person in the world on this one.

bah with both of them. Tennis for NES is where it is at. 2 syllable sound effects for the word fault, and swinging through the ball without connecting makes the game even better! As an added bonus, you can actually count the frames of animation used on the swing ;)

What is this "xbox retail site?" For $9 I'd pick up almost anything, and this one's been garnering some pretty high praise. Too bad I don't have live :(.

I'm in for some Live action. I'm still pumping my created guy up, but I've almost maxed him out with his allotted stars so I'll be good to go.

Is it just me or do you make your fingers hurt from pushing the buttons so hard in this game? My thumb stays sore from slamming down on the "A" button for hard returns.

www.xbox.com/retail

It's only available to those who work at Xbox-approved retailers. You have to complete quizzes on their products, which earn you points, which can be exchanged for games. They do charge a small fee per title, though.

I just snagged Grabbed by the Ghoulies, Halo, Fuzion Frenzy, and Midtown Madness 3 for $22.90. :rocker:
