Hi there gang. Sorry my first post for a month or two has to be one of those "self promotion" kinda things, but http://www.segamastersystem.com has entered a new design, with a brand new flash opening and layout, and I'm sure there are some of you here who'd like to check it out.
Thanks, and let me know what you think!

Nice site, but it's not a "must visit." Yet. Keep working on it, though. If there's anything in my files list (http://home.comcast.net/~edoscuro/) you could use (I've got a couple SMS covers scanned in there), feel free to take it and run ;)
Anybody think this should go on the Digital Press links page?

Hmm, not a must visit eh? That makes me feel better. The Roundtable has known about the site and myself for quite some time, it's on the links page. And during the 3 years it's been up, there have been quite a few memories. I know your post was not made to discourage, but, saying it's not a must visit does kinda make myself wonder what the 3 years of creation was worth. Heh.

Oops, well if it was there before I guess my hasty look was missing a few things. OK, I'll take that back and none too fast.
No, I certainly wasn't thinking about taking it off; I would've found it there eventually and felt rather silly. You've just expedited the process :P
I'm sorry about that!

I personally think that it is a "must visit" for anyone interested in the sms. It's in my top 2 best sms sites that's for sure. I also think that the 'grid' design is the BEST background design I've seen among sms sites. It creates an atmosphere that puts you in a 'sega' frame of mind.
I know that fan sites (of all sorts) take a lot of work and dedication to create, usually for little or no recognition. But don't abandon this one! I already saw this happen to my favourite nes site many years ago (tsr's), I wouldn't want the same thing to happen to yours.

Maybe a real message board would help your site. I'm sure you could build a community there given the good design, content, and domain name.

Haven't been there in a while...NICE OPENING!
Not to be critical, but as a collector os SMS carts I would like to see some text version of manuals. No joke I have 2 SMS carts I can barely figure out how to play. Also some box scans would be nice. So some of us with carts alone who has the boxes but nothing to wrap them with.
Open offer so there is no doubt of this offer I will be willing to send you my Miracle Warriors map marks, tears and all. If you post an image of it on your site. What you think ShinobiMan?

I've looked at your site several times before. nice new look. I'd agree it's a must visit as well. nice intro, layout, good content. my only suggestion involves the collections page. the pictures are distorted out of proportion to fit your table. some are mashed or stretched to fit the 251X437 pixel cells. I'd fix that. those collections are impressive, give em' some room to shine.
other than that it's a beauty! keep up the great work.

Excellent site - I'll add it to my links page when I finish work. :)
One (very minor) criticism of the site would be the navigation on the left. Maybe it just needs a slightly larger font, no italics or maybe a plain background behind that part, but I found myself squinting at it a bit.
Top site though.

I like the re-design, your old home page was pretty cluttered, it's easier to navigate now.
