Noticed in the back of the Voice manual for the Odyssey2, they have a picture behind a woman that I do not recognize as any Voice game I've seen. It's too bad it's blocked in the picture...

Anyone have any clue as to what the game is?? It reminds me of Conquest of the World, but doesn't quite match that game. Besides, it is in the Voice manual, along with other pictures of Voice games, thus I would think it is an unreleased Voice game.

Dunno - it was probably a work in progress that got abandoned. I just can't see a lot of Run Silent, Run Deep-style submarine warfare benefitting from the Voice going "Ouch! Help!"

On the other hand, William Cassidy did the interview with...whathisname, Bradford?...who did all the marketing artwork for the O2. Maybe he can forward that and see if this was an actual game, or something that Just Looked Neat.

I noticed that picture when I got my Voice manual, but I haven't been able to place it. It looks like the "artist's conception" screens used in most O2 catalogs. I just looked through all the catalogs I have but didn't see it. If I had to guess, I'd say it's a concept screen for Conquest of the World, but it's hard to say for sure.

Good memory, PDF. The fellow's name is Ron Bradford (link to interview (http://www.classicgaming.com/o2home/articles/bradford/)). Since his company did almost all the O2 marketing artwork, there's a good chance he worked on the Voice manual. Maybe I'll run it by him (he may not reply though).

I was thinking it was a rather bad rendering of Sub Chase?!
May be Conquest of the World, though, again another bad rendering.
I'd be interested in Bradford's take on this one.

Thing about the picture - it was along side a bunch of other games, all of which were Voice games! Conception or not, I would think it was at least the start of a Voice game that never got off the ground!?

Kinda looks like a "UFO" cartridge in the system, though I have been wrong before
