This is a friend asking, nothing really needs to be restored yet, more of a precaution.

The following question pretains to memory cards like those used for Playstation, Saturn and Gamecube. Can the presence of Magnetic fields compomize the data on memory cards?

I plan to stand my PS2 next to my subwoofer, I know that large speakers like this, as well as TV's, generate powerful magnetic fields that can erase floppies. Does a similar danger exist for these memory cards?

Thanks :)
