View Full Version : Anyone want my site - Grand NEStral Station?

The title says it all. I've lost interest in maintaining the site, and it probably needs rewritten and/or redesigned. It's currently on topcities, a free hosting service. Unfortunately, they have a bandwidth limit and often suspend the site for a day. If you're interested, you'll get a CD with all the images and HTML source documents. For the many of you who haven't seen it, GNS focuses on the NES and has a small section for ColecoVision. The major draw (imho) is a section that documents unreleased NES games. Asking price? Well, it has to at least cover the cost of the CD and shipping. Beyond that, I'm not much of a profiteer. I'd even trade the site for some CV or TG16 games. Email me with any questions.

Thanks,

Isn't that George Blanda? The snake was more rascally-looking.

Jeff, I hope someone picks up your site. I probably look through that NES list once a month, when the site isn't suspended or down. You put a lot of work into that unreleased NES list, so hopefully it isn't lost forever.

By the way, you're the first person I knew that got a complete set of NES carts. Are you working on the TG-16 collection now?

jhd7! I bought some vintage game mags from this guy once, fantastic seller, by the way. I've sent you a PM too, Jeff-- the info would be VERY useful on my site. I would of course give you full credit, and not copy the whole thing verbatim. Just excerpts.

thanx :)

Hey all, show some respect... he's MISTER Blanda. ;-) He was my very first hero and one of the all-time greats. And I'm impressed that someone recognized him. :-)

As for the site, it looks like portnoyd will be in charge soon.

My NES collection isn't quite complete... I have yet to come across the Panesians. Still working on ColecoVision (~108 carts). It would be nice to have all the TG16 games, but it's proving to be more expensive than I expected. Regardless, I'll press on. Old collectors never stop... they just start collecting dust.

"George Blanda at 54 is still outperforming the rookie" :O

He makes modern day players retiring in their 30s look like pansies :P
