Basicly, I mean a list of places that are good to find older games, or cheap newer games.

Example:

Northern Ohio

Eastside Fleamarket, Wickliffe, Ohio

Of course, more details would be nice.

A whole list of contributions of diffrent places for games might be a nice thing to have.

In Cincinnati, at the Tri-County Mall, there's a store called Game Swap that has many kinds of old games. Their prices are a bit higher than Gamestop or Funco Land, but it's the only store I know that still has 2600, 5200, Sega CD, 32X, Saturn, SMS, and Game Gear games.

But I'd love to hear from anyone else in the Cincinnati area that knows of other places, especially good flea markets or such.

Northeast Ohio/Cleveland Area:

Nowhere. Period. Only corporate gamestores have good stuff in this area. Even pawns, thrifts, and yard sales are generally barren around here.

Rev. Link - Thank you for your post...I was wondering where the other Game Swap was...I was at the one at Eastgate (right name???) a few months ago, and they wouldn't tell me where the other one was. Man, I used to go to Tri-County all the time...1-2 Potato had the best fries ever. When it went out of business...I stopped going there. Looks like I have a reason to head back to Cincy soon :)

And Rev. 20 miles north of town on I-75, Trader's World and Turtle Creek...you'll do well, just back off Turtle Creek...I'm not done clearing it out yet!!!

As for my town (Columbus), not much really...a few small chains, lots of the big boys...Video Traders and Video Game Exchanges are the best IMO...

If you Cincy folk are prepared to head up towards the Dayton area, you can find some decent flea markets. Traders' World and Turtle Creek are impossible to miss as you're coming up I-75, and both have some well-stocked game vendors.

However, there's better stuff to be had at Caesar's Creek, located a fair distance from the exit onto 73. There are two reliable game sellers, one indoors and one outdoors. The inside guy charges guide-level or higher for most of his stuff, but he maintains a $2 bin of NES games, including titles like Bionic Commando and The Guardian Legend. The other dealer has lower prices, but he doesn't carry anything more obscure than the Dreamcast library.

There's a game store at the Middletown Mall as well, but I haven't visited it in quite a while.

Oh, that's right, I forgot there was a Game Swap at Eastgate Mall, too. I need to check that one out sometime.

Tell me, do these flea markets have many TG16/Duo games? I only have one game for my Duo, and I'd love to get more!

And while you're in the Eastgate area, come by the Beechmont/Cherry Grove Gamestop, just another exit down the freeway. I'm usually working there during the evenings. While our prices may not be super, we do have a rather large selection of NES/SNES games!

I'm sure i've seen more. I hope others know of more in the NE Ohio area, since this is where I am.

In E-Town, there's a place called Peddlers Market. There's a nice selection of games, depending on where you look. There's atleast one stand full of TG-16 stuff. Or atleast there was, haven't been there in a while.

Yeah, somebody list some cool ass places near Toledo will ya? I have ben itching to go out on a good hunt. Anybody else want to come along. All i hit are the corporate stores in the area. I can't complain though, there are 9 of them in my area.

I will also give a heads up to Traders world and Turtle Creek. Been there once after the last C classic. It was fun.

Anyone who comes to Calgary (Canada) will be inundated with unlicensed nes titles. I don't know why they are so popular up here. Color Dreams, AVE, and especially Camerica games are everywhere up here. Camerica must have had a huge distribution center in Calgary or something because I'm tripping over these things in the streets! (obviously hyperbole). Seriously though, I know a few guys who have stacks (ie 100's) of new Camerica games in their basements.

Would anyone happen to know where to find decent SMS stuff in the Knoxville, TN area?
