Bomberman Wars for PS1: Was It Released in the U.S.?

GameFAQS says that Bomberman Wars shipped in North America on 4/30/98, and GameSpot has a full-length review -- but the Digital Press PS1 release list doesn't have Bomberman Wars listed, and I place my trust in the latter. Is there a U.S. version out there somewhere? Maybe even a localized beta version which GameSpot presumably used for its review?

The only Bombermans that I know of for the PSX in the US is Bomberman Fantasy Race, Bomberman World, and Bomberman Party Edition.

The Bomberman World logo looks strikingly like the Bomberman Wars logo...

I remember palying a Bomberman demo for PS1 a long while ago. Wish I could find it to help you.
