Here's my latest sale on E-Bay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3057318973&ssPageName=ADME:B:EOAS:US:3 . This is about the worst that I've ever done on the internet selling. I may have to start puting a higher starting bids on my auctions. Has anyone else had a REALLY BAD AUCTION that they have sold ? :o O_O X_x :embarrassed: :(

Damn, man, I'd have given you a strong $20 for that at least.

I don't know why it went so cheap :hmm: . It is a re-list from about 3 weeks ago. I am going to start a course in our local Tech school in January, and I'll be selling all of my gaming stuff. I need to decide to sell here or on Atari Age. I will say that I'll list on both sites. That is if E-Bay prices don't do a BIG turn around LOL .

It might have done better if you had listed it in the N64 section of ebay since a majority of the manuals were for the N64.

I would have bid on that, I just didn't see it.

Maybe next time you should make a post here telling everyone you're selling stuff. I'm sure you would have gotten a lot more for it if you had.
I don't think that there are too many N64 collectors.

Maybe just start the auction at the bare minimum you would accept next time? I know I do that with all my auctions. I usually list what I paid for the item if it's something I've bought to sell.

Thats pretty true, since you hardly see N64 stuff going for high prices, plus you hardly ever see people trying to sell stuff on DP, because they know ebay is usually their best chance.
Sorry to see it went so low for ya.

i don't do any selling, but maybe you should have put the words: manual instructions and booklet AND N64 PSX SNES....that way you cover your bases
alot of people just search for maybe psx * or n64 * so you're missing out on all those surfers.

You should have definitely listed all of them.
I often won't bid on a lot if the seller is too lazy to tell me what I am buying.
Also, you should have included the term "lot" in your header.
A lot of time it is just a timing issue. I've sold similar or same items at different times, and gotten results that varied quite a bit. It's just luck to some point. Personally, I would bump the minimun up a notch on stuff like what you sold.

I am an n64 collector and I know Darth Vader is setting his sights on the same once he finishes up his SNES collection.

Thanks for all the advice. I have the worst titles and descriptions in all of E-Bay. The only good points in my auctions are the pictures. I spend more time on the pictures than anything else. Thanks again,

Please check out this auction and let me know if it is set up good. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=1250&item=3059128406 . It took about an hour to do this one, I try to get everything just right.

That looks real good. Everything is cleanly laid out. I take a fair amount of time when I list my auctions also and the results are worth it. Good luck!
Looks good! Plenty of titles to turn up in searches. :)
One suggestion though. I know you've made it fairly clear in your listing that it's only instructions and other books only, but I just have this feeling that someone may get the wrong idea and think that it's actually the games.
Perhaps a clear and simple first statement of "This auction is for instructions and other books only. NO games or systems are included in this auction." would be appropriate to protect yourself from a potential noob bidder who doesn't read closely.

That looks real good.
The trick is to keyword spam without looking like you're doing it, and you've done just that.
