What are those yellow things in Don Pachi? They look like bees or birds or something, and you have to unlock them with your super charge (or whatever it's called in this game). What do they do when you collect them?

DonPachi translates to "bee boss" so they are bees! Basically they're like the score icons that fall down in 8ing games, where as collecting the firs is 100 points, the next is 200 and so on.

Hmm, I guess I didn't notice a bee theme in the game. It seems like a bunch of military stuff like Raiden. I was hoping they did something somewhat cool because they're hidden and all; I pay little attention to the score when I'm playing a shooter, I'm mostly in it to see how far I can get and how much crazy shit I can go through w/out dying.
