So much $$$ for a Crusader of Centy?

This is an allright game, i got mine off ebay for 7 US a few months ago....does anyone know why this one went for so much money???

It most likely went for so much because someone either really needed it for his collection, he really likes it, or knows that it is getting really hard to find complete.

its not the original case ! crusaders of centy only came in paper boxes i own 2 complete crusaders oif centy myself and first one i got was purchased brand new when it first came out and it was in the paper box sadly the bidder probably thought it was the first gen box but its NOT ! its just cut up and put in another case i have a similar case like that with shining force 2 someone cut up the box and put it in the case but i paid only 7 bucks for that shining force 2 so i m not complaining ha ....

Well technically it is the original box , just cut up and put in a different plastic case. I guess it's all in how you look at it. :hmm:

I do this a lot with my older messed up cardboard Genny boxes. It looks nice and will last a lot longer.

Can you actually tell from the picture that that's what it is? Maybe it really is an original plastic case and that's why it went so high. People will pay insane amounts for rare box variations.
