Top Ten Reasons Animal Crossing Should Get a Sequel
10. More character variation-you should be able to be any animal, or at least get to pick more than the gender on your human.
9. Online play- enough said
8. More housing upgrades or the ability to build your own house with more than just an upstairs or downstairs.
7. Customizable furniture
6. Super Nintendo emulated games
5. Email Client.... BoatofCar@AnimalCrossing.com
4. Optional Jobs besides running errands...work at Tom Nook's, etc.
3. We don't need a new Mario or Zelda game.
2. We don't need any mmore sports games.
1. I want it.

You should get Doubutsu No Mori e+... I know no Japanese, but it's fun.

Animal Crossing should be Nintendos #1 priority for another sequel.
You should be able to buy more than one house, or have a freaking Mansion.
Two people should be able to play at once, or team up for certain things.
I also think raffles should be twice a month also.

I would SLAY for an Animal Crossing sequel. If it was $100, I'd STILL buy it. Seriously. It's the sort of game that DAMN WELL better not get ignored!

A few more things I think would be cool. Add an aquarium in your house to display your fish instead of the museum. I agree with the mansion idea. Yiou can only keep about 4 themes total in your house, wheres the fun in that? It would be nice to have a little midi program a la Mario Paint, something simple like that, to compose the town song and even your own house's music!

I thought you COULD compose your own town song? Isn't that over by the post office or am I thinking of something else?

1) You can have your own town music, I'll grant it's a few short bars, but it's there. Yes, it's by the PO. Some towns people will HATE it no matter what though.
2) When you put a fish down in your house, their aquarium pops up. You can't keep multiple fishes in one aquarium, but they are there.
3) I will only purchase a Animal Crossing Sequal if they get rid of the damn letters or include keyboard support for the US version. :roll:

Dude, a sequel would kick so much ass! Buy or build a mansion (a build option would be interesting...) and this game certainly BEGS for Internet expansion! Isn't it funny how people can get fired up like this for a "life-simulator?"

Sequel has been in the works and repeatedly delayed for a long time now, check the animal crossing 2 message boards at gamefaqs.

2. I want a bar-style huge aquarium with tons of fish to line the back wall of the mansion they better let you build in the sequel.
