According to published news sources, IBM is now the vendor for the main processor in all three of the next round of game systems. Here's the story:

In addition, ATI has signed on to make the graphics processor for the next Nintendo and Microsoft systems.
True, the article does mention that the processors may all be totally different, but it also speculates that while the Sony chip is being developed separately, the other two systems may get the same chip.
