Someone take the time and figure out if this guy could have spent $30,000 on all of that.
I'm to tired to figure it out. -_-

Ok, now this was very crude math, but by the time I got down to SMS I had added up about $20,000 worth of stuff. After that I just gave up
Now, take this into account: I used release day prices for systems, games, etc. (didn't take into account usage, etc.) Used $60 as a *new release* SNES game price

Yea but he spent so much on it. I don't know, it just doesnt make sense how you could ahve so much passion for something and then all of the sudden just decide to sell it. Must be a bad financial problem.

It must have taken him a week to type that whole thing up! He probably has debt or something, and needs to sell.

It's over 3K now and the reserve still isn't met. That had to cost a ton to list.

Not really
Insertion Fee: $3.30
4 additional pictures: $.60
Subtitle: $.50
So its only $4.40 to list.
Final value fees will be a bit much. If he actually gets $30K (highly doubtful) he'll end up owning just over $300.

Wait. I thought listing fees depended on either the starting bid or a reserve bid if one was used.
Therefore, the higher a reserved price, the higher the listing fees.
No?

You forgot the reserve fee of 1% up to $100. So if his reserve is $5000 he has to pay $50.00 unless it sells.

I thought that was for real estate only. Looking at the policies more closely, I think you're right.

I'm not crazy about his feedback. I like my sellers to have over 95% positive, especially when the total is only around 100.

Wonder why it was pulled?

I'd guess the seller pulled it because he actually expected it to go for mad money.

I don't think sellers can delete their own auctions. They can close them, but they'd still show up when clicking the URL.
When it's not found in the eBay database (aka Invalid Item) that means that eBay has yanked it. I wonder why though? Maybe someone couldn't verify it or something....reading through the description it sounded legit.

It's possible it got yanked because his account got yanked for something else.
