I know it has been on this board before, but I have a question. A while back I bought Pukkmen. It is a bootleg pac-man game for Atari 2600, I think. (although some of you probably knew that, maybe everybody but me knew about it before I saw it) Anyway, I finally took the time to test it. I know, I feel shame for having it sit there un-played for so long. When I put it in, the screen kept rolling. What's the problem and is there any way I can fix it? I know the Atari 2600 I tested it on is good and has no problems with other games, so it is the cart. Any help? Thanks!

Could be a PAL format cartridge. Does it give any indication as to it's nationality?

that's not a problem cart at all- the game is SUPPOSED to be like that! the programmers thought they were gonna be sued, so they made the screen roll intentionally. this way people wouldn't be able to tell that it's a bad pac-man ripoff (not that the ORIGINAL 2600 pac-man is any good, lol)...

Like FAB said, it's probably a PAL cart. If you have an old TV with the vertical and horizontal hold knobs, you should be able to correct the rolling. Even if you don't have an old TV, you can at least rest assured that your cart is AOK. :)
