Remember, many moons ago, when I had this error with MAME, and I couldn't play any games, but all I got was this message:
ATTENTION: ##/## FREQUENCY IS OUT OF RANGE
All I had to do was try it again later, and the problem was solved? It's happening again. I tried MAME 0.77, which was working fine before, and MAMEPlus 0.76, which was also working fine before. Now, I'm getting this f**king error again, and I'm open to any and all suggestions as to how I can beat this. :help:
BTW, I already restarted my computer. It didn't work. :grumble:

Well, whaddya know? It works now! I still don't know what causes this error... but it's fixed. :P
But does anyone care to guess what the source of this error is? :hmm:

Some program in the background hogging memory perhaps? How much memory do you have?

I would take an educated guess that this is due to a faulty monitor. Your monitor agrees to use certain frequencies sometimes, but sometimes will not. If you have access to another monitor, try it for awhile. I bet you that you will not have the problem again.
