Does anyone out there know of any prototype hardware for sale?
Atari 5100
Atari 2000
Atari Cosmos
and so on?

Generally not, because it tends to be much much rarer than software prototypes. I've seen an Atari 2700 go up on ebay before, but that's about it. You'll never see a Cosmos for sale since there are only two known working versions and those will never be put up for sale (trust me).

Yeah I bought that 2700 on eBay.
As far as Cosmos goes. Hell a mockup or even a box is ok with me.
Was a NES-Gameboy adapter ever found ?

I haven't seen a Nes to Gameboy adapter.....I did though hear of a type of super gameboy for the N64 that would also play GBA games on your N64.....supposably it was also used as a development tool for the GBA ...It supposably exisits and was available directly through nintendo for the handsome sum of around $700. I have no idea if it actually exisits, just stories I've heard.

Nope, nobody's tracked down a copy of that Game Boy to NES adapter yet. Though I can't say I've really tried...
...hmm.

Wasn't the Wideboy an "official" Nintendo device to show GB games on a TV screen? The BDL GB-to-NES adaptor is more interesting to me...
