I saw the link on the front page, but when I followed it I couldn't find any information about the upcoming $79.99 Gamecube sale.

Who's going to be offering it for that price?

I wonder if that sale begins at 12:01am Friday. Our Wal-Mart is already crammed full of people at any given time. I wouldn't go there the Friday after Thanksgiving unarmed.

AFAIK Wal-Mart's post Thanksgiving sales start at 7 AM...at least that's when they are traditionally around here...of course our WMs don't stay open 24/7 anyway...

I just hope there will be something worth getting up early for this year. I didn't even go last year :(

2 years ago though was fun...6:30 AM outside Best Buy...took 15 minutes for me to get in the door :D got in line almost immediately...took 2 hours to get through the line.

I love post-Thanksgiving day shopping!!!!! (No sarcasm)

What idiot is going to go through all that hell just to save $20? Standing outside for hours, waiting in line to pay for hours, how dumb. Can't you just get it on the walmart web site for the same price that day?

I've always loved the people who bitched about the lines the day after Thanksgiving. I has some asshole behind me last year at Best Buy:

"Why don't they have more cashiers, this is stupid. They should've been ready for this."

There are some great deals that day, and I always loved to go shopping. The bad thing is I haven't been able to for the past 4 years because I was working....retail.

Thankfully I always get the late shift and never got stuck in the morning.....3 years now I've dodged the bullet.

My cousins don't have alot of money. There mom does this every year (well stuff of the sort) that 20 bucks get them a new present.

It seems like that day-after sale gives people a chance to demonstrate the whole "mob mentality." If you gave them each a torch some sort of pointy weapon I can't imagine anyone who would try to stand in their way. I'll most likely have to work black friday, and they even told us at work that they're going to cater food in because it will be impossible to get out, to a restaurant and back in that day during the hour lunch break we get. People are fucking insane. I'll save my money that day (and my sanity as well).

Even if you only make minimum wage, it doesn't seem like an efficient use of your time. Spending hours to do what on any other day would take a few minutes. It's like those sheeple that all must go see a movie on the first day of it's release, buy their game systems on the launch day so they can stand in line and fight over the remaining stock. :roll:
