Why wouldn't he give the pen away and sell the dvd? it don't matter but just a weird way of selling it

Ah, because selling the bootleg illegally copied DVD is against E-bay rules...selling a pen with a free bonus is not. You'll see this alot with sporting event tickest as well. Usually, the freebie is much better, at least a hat or something. Anyone know what category this falls under to report him???

Probably the same category as bootlegging. Im sure EbAy will notice if you bring it to thier attention.

I have a friend who once bought a piece of paper on eBay. Of course, as a free bonus the seller included CD-ROMs with every episode of Dragon Ball Z, fansubbed.
He got ripped off, though. The seller never sent anything.
